Ok so it's a bit premature but have been doing some present hunting today and came across a few goodies that I wanted to share! I love this time of year and being able to think up different presents that (hopefully) people will enjoy! I'm not one particularly to own all the traditional Christmas pieces (I'm thinking penguin jumpers, bobble headed Father Christmas' and light up reindeers) but I do love some of the more subtle pieces and the traditional things you do around this time of year, like having an advent calendar, stockings, decorating the tree etc. 

I came across the first top though and thought maybe I am a bit more predictable than I realise though as this would be my ideal Christmas list!!! The last one, of the advent calendar from Topshop, is an idea I'd not seen before of a jewellery advent calendar. Have seen ones with things other than chocolate (Lego one was a good one!) but thought that was a nifty idea! Would still have a chocolate one too though!

So this was New Year outfit option two, will post up what went with in couple of days. Fear I let down the best friend though as she did spend most of the night going, "well there's not much sparkle about for a New Year", this gorgeous sequin skirt may have helped with that fact!

Was playing about with a camera tripod for these to try and take some more photos myself but the problem is that when you are pushing the button to set it going it's obviously focusing on something not there so when you put yourself into it, it becomes a bit out of focus, grrr, now need a remote! Or a helping hand!

I love Tatton Park gardens and these quick pics were taken on Christmas Eve on our walk round them, (you have to have a Christmas walk somewhere!) in fairness I have no idea why we didn't taken some pics in the MUCH warmer greenhouses but hey ho! Love the softness of the knit and the matching beanie - giant bobble ones were where it was at this winter - just have to excuse the craziness of my hair, it was slightly windy!

Another good thing from Christmas is having handy man Dad up to fix my House of Holland bag, the perfect small sized, long strapped bag that can actually fit my camera in. So useful and very annoying when the catch came off, (def from over use!), but Dad and a trip to B&Q soon sorted that out! Miss you guys x

Simple one today, standard outfit atm...jeans jumper, hat (I get cold ears!!!). Just wanted to put up this jacket, got it a while ago when the tartan craze was going on a few weeks ago. Just like the collar and the contrasting sleeves. Need to brave it and take some posts of some new skirts I bought, and also released need to get my fringe trimmed! Also got these lovelies, here, now it's payday! Lil treats are allowed as a pick me up every now and then!
