Painted in...red

Jumper: Topshop (sale)   Trousers: H&M   Boots: New Look   Bag: Zara   Necklace: H&M   Ear cuff: Topshop

Again hadn't meant to go quite so matchy matchy with this ensemble but like the way the bottom panel of the bag, and colour, almost matches the jumper! Thought being in for boxing day sales was going to be horrendous but actually wasn't too bad, and even got a bit of time after to do a bit of mooching myself. Found this jumper in the Topshop along with some funky flowered trousers, that are going to have to go back :( ...too many Christmas dinners I think!

Am going to try and be good again about buying clothes in the New Year, (see how long that lasts again!) but maybe just be more sensible and think about things I can mix and match rather than just keep buying lots of dresses that never seem to wear. Still so many things to show on here that have owned for ages but will have a big clear out soon, when I get a chance, and post up some pics.

Merry Christmas...to all

Reindeer jumper: gift

Merry Christmas to everyone! Just a few quick images to share the Christmassy spirit!

In the...country

Jumper: Mens   Jeans: H&M   Boots: Primark   Snood: Primark   Armour ring: Primark   Big ring: Topshop   Bag: H&M

As have said before find mens jumpers so much cosier a lot of the time, not just down to the size but they always seem thicker, so have stolen the bf's her. Also as I quite liked the knit colours too. Went bit matchy matchy with the red in the knit and snood and bag, was less thinking that way!

Am currently spending little bit of time with the family, have all managed to gather together somewhere out in the sticks, and am finally feeling bit Christmassy! Going to have a hunt for some Christmas images later like I did last year, here. Also going out later for post birthday celebrations so will hopefully get some more images then to post over the holidays! Hope everyone is having pleasant holidays!!!

Just quick post, (still stealing internet!!!), and as am off out to celebrate birthday! Woop woop! Was actually yesterday but spent majority of day in work so making up for it today and going to have a Christmassy afternoon and some drinks. Going to wear the above with a massive knit scarf and longer line coat to keep out the cold! Soooo hoping internet gets sorted out in flat this week so can do some more posts and keep everyone updated with our Christmas adventures...stayed tuned for sister and brother-in-laws scary matching Christmas themed jumpers! Rolling eyes as I type!

Brrrrr...argggggg

Jacket: Primark   Jumper: Topshop   Trousers: H&M   Boots: Primark   Scarf: Gift   Bag: H&M   Hand chain: Topshop   Stack rings: Primark

Not got any new photos at the moment as this week we have moved into our new flat, very nice as very pretty, not so nice as no internet (not helpful for last minute Christmas shopping, grrr!) so am back in the old house currently stealing some internet time! Not that I didn't know already, and was the original idea for starting this blog, but have way too many things! The amount of clothes I found that had forgotten about (bf was none too pleased with the amount of clothes still with tags on!) but I do find it nice to rediscover again!

Took these when out and about before the ones in the previous post, just love the big knit bits at the moment, the longer the scarf the better I am saying, mostly because the more I can wrap it around the warmer I am! Am trying to get pregnant sister into her maternal nature and start knitting me something, so far it wouldn't be enough to cover an ant.

If it ain't...baroque

Jumper: Glamorousuk.com   Trousers: H&M   Earrings: Topshop

I apologise for any spelling mistakes but currently can't feel my fingers whilst typing this, had to go out on some errands quite early this morning and it's soooooooo cold! Am now back home and don't plan on moving off the sofa again today, wrapped up and staying that way!!! The quick photo taken above after I found the jumper the other day, has been in a few magazines to go with the baroque trend, and just came across by accident - always when you not really looking for anything!

Here, featured on the Look magazine site, shows how similar it is to a Stella McCartney style one and I like the idea of wearing with tailored trousers and come black boots. Also liking this one, here, from Zara and the panels on this pencil skirt, here, at River Island for a more vampy look. For a brighter look there is also this white dress from River Island too with gorgeous waist pattern, here. Be careful of spillages on it though!

Same old...same old

Jumper: Primark   Skirt: H&M   Boots: Primark

Few more pics from the other day, here, another jumper thought would go well with the leather skirt and funky spike boots. God knows why I look so grumpy in the photos, really wasn't, was playing about with the camera self timer and probably one of those times when you are waiting for the timer to go off...and waiting annnnnd then it gets you when you don't think it's going to go off!

Currently watching the rather pregnant sister and not so coordinated brother-in-law trying to assemble their new Christmas tree, is like watching a comedy show where one falls over the other! Shall post up a tasteful and arty Instagram photo when it is completed, (or on fire, whichever comes first!) on Facebook, check out the page, here.

Bear...hug

Jumper: River Island   Hand chain: Primark

So this was said jumper from the previous post, here, a long forgotten one that was hiding at the back of my wardrobe. It was from when I was having a phase of buying anything vaguely animal related for clothing. Was bit more for the novelty factor but definitely a good find in this chilly weather, must dig out the biggest scarves I have and, for some reason, only have one pair of mittens atm, cosy but not the most practical!

As said before, here, the hand chains are everywhere at the moment and I have a couple of simple ones like the Urban Outfitters bird one in that post and a couple of just Topshop beaded single chain ones but found this one in Primark last week and liked the over the topness of it! Thought could work quite well with understated outfits of just jeans and basic jumpers to add a little something to it.
