Imitation...sincerest flattery

Following on from the previous post, here, where I wore my monochrome boots found in Topshop sale by lucky chance, and that reminded me of the Stella McCartney style ones seen with them, I got to thinking about the other items I own that have found, or chosen, due to them being quite similar to designer pieces. For example my copies of Isabel Marant trainers found in a little town that you would least expect. I can appreciate why copies of such items are bad but for people like myself, (with only so many funds), when there is a chance to own something that seems a little bit more special than it really is, it is hard to resist.

As you will have seen from previous posts my most recent love are the above Topshop cut out boots, saw someone wearing similar ones with tights, bohemian skirt and double layered denim jacket and larger coat, looked rather good...something to try! Sometimes imitation is definitely flattery!
