Blue...and green

Jumper: H&M   Trousers: H&M   Trainers: Solestruck   Jacket: River Island   Hand chain: Primark

Went the other day to the cinema so wore this casual outfit with my lovely trainers, really can't wear them too much! Found this scribble jumper again the other day, bought it many years ago but now the neon and text trend has come back round have broken it out again! Could see it in a more retro 90's ensemble with baseball cap, denim cut offs and some white hi-tops.

Been up since ridiculously early just doing random jobs and things, currently renewing the passport as we want to go to New York later this year, anyone know any good places to stay/go? Will, of course, behave like a proper tourist and do all the general sites but sure there's some little gems, like in every town. Lemme know!!!

Still...waiting

Jacket: River Island   Trousers: H&M   Scarf: H&M   Trainers: River Island   Bag: Zara   Sunglasses: H&M

Day five in the baby waiting house...and still no sign! So I went shopping in the vain hope that if I stayed away from the sister for most of the day I might get a panicked phone call, rather than sitting round and staring at her all day, unfortunately no such luck! Got a rather excellent black and white jumper from H&M sale though that goes very well with the latest monochrome trend.

Am not the greatest experimenter with colour anyway but must say I felt rather comfortable in this all black outfit to contrast with my neon H&M scarf. Have seen today in Look magazine that this sort of colour, well any neon actually, is having a big moment mixed with leopard print, may have to break out my leopard boots, here, again! Check out some more of the last items in H&M sale, here, especially thinking their neon knit items before they go.

Away...for while

Top: Primark    Jeans: H&M   Trainers: Solestruck   Jacket: River Island   Watch: River Island   Bracelets: H&M   Bangles: River Island

Just a quick simple post today. For the next three or four weeks I may not be posting very much as am traveling away with work and, as lovely as the hotel is, I can not for the life of me get the Wi-fi to work! Promise when back to things in November have lots of ideas for posts, helped by recent fashion weeks and the explosion of Autumn/Winter collections on the high street.

The above photos actually look quite pleasant, truth is I was making the bf stand in the rain outside to take them! And as it was getting a bit darker, it really is getting into winter, boo sob! Worn today as spent most of it dashing about doing odd jobs, running backwards and forwards trying to get stuff done, before packing up for the next round of traveling. Still love these trainers, add a bit of something but are still super comfy.

Sunny...really

Shirt: Primark   Trousers: H&M   Trainers: River Island   Bag: H&M   Watch: Urban Outfitters   Bracelet: River Island

Has been an interesting week so far down in Brighton, have had a fancy afternoon tea at The Grand Hotel on the seafront, been out for food and cocktails (where I did set a napkin on fire!), been to see the lovely Elif down in Rottingdean again to do some more amendments on a dress for me (check out her Facebook page and work, here) and sorted through so much china from the wedding last year I could probably now start a home ware store.

Shall do a post of diary pics at the end of the week but just wanted to post these pics my mum took today, partly as she was impressed by her photography skills and wanted to see them up and partly as it makes it appear deceptively sunny down here. Morning before we were in the midst of a thunderstorm and torrential rain, told you would have to prepare for every eventuality!!! Want to get out tomorrow actually into the town and see what's changed/happening and have a little hunt for some goodies down the Laines, best place to shop down here FYI.

Hidden...but so good

Jacket: River Island   Jumper: Topshop   Trousers: H&M   Scarf: H&M   Trainers: Solewish   Bag: H&M

So followers on Facebook and Twitter will have already seen my excitement at finding some of these Isabel Marent-esque hidden wedge hi-tops. I've only been banging on about them a little while! I love the look, how comfy they are and the hidden wedge in them that gives you that bit of extra height that, I must admit, makes you strut a little bit when walking (that was till I trip on a pavement walking between trains! Haha!).

Had to go home for a couple of days this week so these were taken on the tube between trains going back up to Manchester so was necessary to wear something you can easily run in when the fight for train seats starts! Other options for similar styles here, here and these River Island all black versions, here, that are second row and second from the left that I was torn between getting with the above, not on the website atm but have seen in stores this week.
