Am soooo trying to be better at getting photos up on here but am being sooooo bad at it! Have so many ideas and lots of pretty things that I really can't afford to have bought recently to show but tend to do nothing for ages and then have a little flurry of activity but thank you for bearing with me!

Has been a bit of a hectic few weeks going from Birmingham to Brighton to Liverpool, and back to Manchester quite a few times in between! I'm still in love so much with these shoes, they are so pretty and incredibly comfy, with the amount of laces on them it's not like you are going to fall our of them too! Keep an eye out for next post of some gorgeous Primark buys this week, already planning for autumn, mind you with this weather who can blame me!

So am back from a week away with work to the interesting city of Birmingham! Check out the photos on my Facebook page, here, of some of the pretty, and sometimes rather bizarre, architecture! Can't say I had much time to stop and relax but when I got a chance took a few quick shots.

Going away again this week to Brighton and then to Liverpool the week after so might break these pretty shoes out again when we stay over for the night and head out on the town. They are so lovely I can't stop looking at them! First seen on one of my favourite bloggers, here, in red. But which do you prefer?

So inspiration for this outfit choice came directly from this photo below, when I saw the jumper advertised it struck me with the similarities to the Givenchy number worn here by    Lily Collins and until I can afford to buy my own version will just have to do!!!

As the title suggests, sometimes we have to take small steps sometimes. You never know what is going to happen but just have to keep doing things that make you happy! Anyway enough of that philosophicalness am going to follow that advice and go and eat a truck load of ice cream! Happy Wednesday peeps!

Some might have seen a couple of weeks ago when I had a bit of a shopping frenzy in Topshop and bought ALL kinds of pretty things. This simple black and white dress was one of them, and actually the thing I originally went for (get way too tempted way too easily!). 

Have kinda done with the lipstick but could also add a bit of a colour pop with something like a clutch bag or some bold shoes. Am sticking to my Rimmel lip balm for now, really loving the colour! 

In a…cage

Been thinking of ways to wear my new cage shoes, (seen here from my recent New Look haul!), this was one of my favourites. With last years blogger staple, the Zara skort, that there are now loads of variations popping up already this year ready for spring, like this tartan one, here, from Boohoo and this sequin number from MissGuided, here.

Getting into the red lips much more recently and this colour balm from Rimmel is great at lasting and not drying them out. I never thought I particularly suited bold make up shades but this one has a lovely tone to it. This is The Redder The Better but I must go back and get some different ones!

Ok, so I can't lie, I down right stole this outfit idea from one of my favourite bloggers - Victoria from inthefrow.com - after seeing this post, here, I thought "I love that look!" and have most of these things already. And now, thanks to the link from her post I now have the perfect shearling jacket as well! Love this over sized piece of warmness, (in the Miss Selfridge sale at half price!) seeing as they are still threatening snow it seemed like a good way to go! Love how Victoria funks up the look though with the sports jersey and lighter beanie!!!

Yesterday I also purchased some tickets for the Vogue festival 2014, which I was very excited about, until I realised I had bought them for a day when I already have plans! DOH! So if there is anyone out there that is interesting in buying them off me, I got them for the Fashion Legends talk with Naomi Campbell and Franca Sozzani at 6.30pm on Sun 30th March in the front stalls, please send me an e-mail, either that or if anyone has tickets for any of the talks on the Saturday (that I could go to!) let me know as well and could swap?! Damn my excitedness! Does look like an excellent event though, check out what's on and for tickets, here.

Am feeling the check scarves atm! This one particularly was quite handy on a chilly evening when out last weekend! Am also quite loving this double sided one from Zara, or the collection from Locharron on Topshop website (click on the pics below for links):

Still can't quite believe that Christmas is all done with and we'll soon be heading to lighter days and warmer evenings! Maybe a bit off yet! Do love the necklace I found the other week, gives you two chains and a selection of letters to make up what ever you want! Good (or possibly bad) idea!

Well it's definitely Autumn, love this time of year and all the colours that come out. It's that time in between jackets and big coats...must go coat hunting! Was randomly looking around H&M the other day and saw this jumper in their sale, was one I'd seen on the website ages ago! I love the design and colours on it and couldn't find it again when I went to buy it, like when you find something like that.

Tonight in Manchester there is going to be the Vogue Fashion Night Out and have been looking at some of the events going on, looks very exciting. Check out some of the events going on, here. Not sure what to do first!

In the...garden

Literally been hiding in my garden this evening! Spent the last couple of days running round in Brighton seeing lots of family and enjoying being by the seaside again! (Check out the Instagram feed...more pretty pics to follow!) 

Shall be heading off in a couple of days to Disneyland Paris so am trying to pack logically and also think of what photos I can take over there! The logic comes in with taking two babies and will inevitably need two changes of tops each day! Can't wait, for the trip...not so much the sick!
